POLICIES & INFORMATION

Clear information for
Ivy High families.

These pages explain how Ivy High handles personal information, website technology and the terms that apply to our services. Our final contractual documents will be reviewed before paid enrolment opens.

PRIVACY

Privacy notice

Ivy High may collect information provided by parents, guardians and students when making an enquiry, booking a consultation or trial, enrolling, creating or using an account, attending lessons or communicating with the school.

Information we may process

This may include names and contact details, student year group and learning information, attendance, assessments, grades, teacher feedback, account information, communications and payment-related records. Payment card details will be handled by our payment provider rather than stored directly by Ivy High.

Why we use it

We use information where necessary to provide and administer education services, operate accounts and platforms, communicate with families, support students, maintain records, safeguard our school community, meet legal obligations and improve our services where appropriate.

Children's information

Children's personal information requires particular care. Ivy High aims to collect only information needed for the service and to use privacy-protective settings for student-facing services. Privacy information intended for students will be presented in an age-appropriate form.

Sharing and retention

Information may be shared with service providers where necessary to operate Ivy High, and where required or permitted by law. Our final notice will identify relevant categories of recipients, retention periods, lawful bases, international-transfer arrangements where applicable, and how individuals can exercise their data-protection rights.

Pre-launch notice

This is a website summary, not the final legal privacy notice. Ivy High's legal entity/controller details, data-protection contact, retention schedule, processors and lawful bases must be confirmed before paid enrolment opens.

COOKIES

Cookies

Ivy High may use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for website security, authentication and core functionality. If optional analytics or other non-essential technologies are used, visitors will be given appropriate information and choices before those technologies are activated where consent is required.

A final cookie list will be produced from the technologies actually running on the live site so that the notice accurately describes each relevant cookie or similar technology, its purpose and duration.

TERMS

Terms & conditions

Before a family purchases an Ivy High package, the applicable price, included services, billing frequency, start arrangements and important cancellation information should be made clear. Education services will be provided with the consumer rights that apply under UK law.

Our final parent contract will cover enrolment, fees and payment, package inclusions, student and parent responsibilities, acceptable platform use, attendance, changes to services, cancellation, complaints, safeguarding, intellectual property and ending an enrolment.

Contract review required

We are not publishing invented cancellation periods or refund promises. These commercial terms need to be decided by Ivy High and the final parent contract should be reviewed appropriately before Stripe payments are enabled.

CANCELLATION & REFUNDS

Cancellation information

Ivy High's paid packages are intended to use monthly billing. The checkout journey will clearly display the payment amount and recurring nature of the payment before a parent commits.

The final cancellation and refund terms will explain how a parent can cancel, when cancellation takes effect, any applicable statutory cancellation rights, how refunds are handled and what happens to platform access after an enrolment ends. The process should be straightforward and the terms fair and transparent.

COMPLAINTS

Complaints

We want concerns to be raised and resolved fairly. Ivy High will publish a complaints procedure explaining how a parent, guardian or student can raise a concern, how it will be considered, expected response stages and how a matter can be escalated where appropriate.

Safeguarding concerns should not wait for the general complaints process. Please use our Safeguarding page for safeguarding information.
